Alistair is a trainer with a passion for supporting change through the whole person – mind and body. With many years experience in both business and community contexts, he cares deeply about helping each person to redefine the boundaries of what’s possible for them. He trains with energy and enthusiasm balanced by sensitivity to what matters most for individuals. With Toby Buckle, he has co-developed and delivers The Healthy Leadership Project, an innovative experiential training programme which cultivates leadership and team effectiveness from the inside out.
Alistair has 25 years experience working for organisations including IBM, American Express and Royal & Sun Alliance. He has led large global and European technology programmes, often heading up teams remotely and across cultural boundaries. Over 15 years, he co-developed and delivered training programmes for IBM and American Express in UK, Europe and USA. At IBM he was responsible for their ‘Top Talent’ programme dedicated to the development of their highest caliber technical personnel.
Alistair is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and is Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) accredited. He incorporates Embodied Leadership practices in his training. He is also an eco-psychologist, and where appropriate, will work with the natural world to support change in individuals and teams. He has a Masters degree in Phenomenology.
Alistair also has a vision for taking leading edge personal change technologies and making them accessible to those experiencing disadvantage in the community. His “Be Your Best”, “This is the Real Me” and “Wild Mind” programmes have helped several hundred people move into employment, improved mental health and other significant life changes.
